Industrial storage, engineered in Gurugram.

TOBOR is a battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturer and system integrator based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. Its industrial portfolio includes PTX systems at 500 kW, 1 MW and 2 MW, and CTX configurations up to 10 MW, with battery management, power conversion and energy management controls.

System sizing considers power, stored energy, site loads and operating requirements. Published models describe available configurations; project-specific equipment and performance are confirmed in the offer.

Industrial BESS: sizing questions

Does TOBOR make industrial BESS above 250 kW?
Yes. TOBOR's industrial range includes PTX-500 at 500 kW, PTX-1000 at 1 MW and PTX-2000 at 2 MW. CTX configurations include 1.75 MW, 2.5 MW and 10 MW systems. The comparison below uses the published TOBOR product catalog; the project offer confirms the supplied configuration.
What is the difference between kW and kWh in an industrial BESS?
kW and MW describe power: how much load a system can supply at a moment. kWh and MWh describe stored energy. For example, PTX-500 is rated at 500 kW with 514.5 kWh of nominal storage. Dividing nominal energy by power gives a theoretical duration; usable backup time also depends on reserve state of charge, conversion losses, temperature, battery aging and the actual load.
Is the portable Info Lite model TOBOR's industrial BESS?
Info Lite is a separate portable product range for small loads. Industrial and utility projects use the PTX and CTX ranges, with power conversion, battery management and energy management configured for the site. Select an industrial system using the facility's power demand and required energy capacity.
Does a 250 kW system count as above 250 kW?
No. PTX-250 is a 250 kW entry option and is excluded from this comparison of systems strictly above 250 kW. The next listed PTX configuration is PTX-500 at 500 kW.
What information is needed to size an industrial battery system?
Provide the site's peak and interval load data, critical loads and motor starting requirements, outage duration, electricity tariff, solar generation profile, grid connection voltage, space available and operating objective. TOBOR uses these inputs to propose power, energy capacity, protection and controls. Savings and backup duration must be assessed for the specific site.

Start with your site's load profile.

Share peak demand, interval consumption, required backup hours, solar capacity and connection voltage. We will use those inputs to scope an industrial BESS proposal.
